AOC launches entry-level B2 series monitors with a slim,
3-sided frameless design.
AOC launches three new monitors from the entry-level
monitor product line B2 series. Available in 21.5-inch (54.7 cm), 23.8-inch
(60.4 cm) and 27-inch (68.6 cm) screen sizes, all three models have full HD
resolution (1080p), simple looking, 3-sided, ultra-thin profile and VESA mount
support.
The monitors offer wide viewing angles (178 °) that
guarantee a color-changing experience with no viewing angle. The 21.5-inch
22B2H model has a VA panel with deep blacks and vibrant colors. The 23.8 inch
24B2XH and 27 inch 27B2H are equipped with IPS panels for vivid reproduction.
Thanks to the VGA and HDMI 1.4 inputs, various devices
can be easily connected. All three of these three models fit the desk of any
user looking for a basic and low-cost display.
Robust features for entry-level budget
AOC's B2 series monitors offer a robust range of
features: the vibrant Full HD resolution (1920x1080) and true colors of the IPS
panel (24B2XH and 27B2H) and the impressive contrast offered by the VA panel
(22B2H).
Suitable for everything from work to study or watching movies to
occasional gaming. All panels support the 75 Hz refresh rate, meaning it
displays 25% more frames per second than an ordinary 60 Hz monitor to get
smoother cursor movements and videos.
Fluent and functional
Although these monitors are affordable and entry-level,
they are frameless on all three sides. This means that the edge of the panel
meets the frames. Thus, a fluent image impression is created. Such an elegant
design also enables multiple monitor setups that increase productivity without
distracting bezels.
A technology that convinces
All three models of the B2 series are equipped with both
VGA and HDMI inputs and a headphone output. Thus, even old personal computers
using VGA can be connected and modernized with a wonderful display. What's
more, modern sources such as desktop or mobile personal computers, DVD or
Blu-ray players, game consoles and others can be easily plugged into HDMI.
Features don't stop with that either - the B2 series
features FlickerFree technology that eliminates vibration using DC (Direct
Current) instead of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation - Signal Width Modulation) when
adjusting the brightness level. This prevents headaches and fatigue of the
eyes, often caused by flickering images.
Also, to relieve eye strain in dark hours and in low
light conditions, the LowBlue mode reduces the release of the monitor's harmful
blue wavelengths.
AOC's B2 Series will be available in February at the
retail prices recommended by the manufacturer: 22B2H 109 USD, 24B2XH 119 USD
and 27B2H 169 USD.
